Using Propecia for hair loss
When you notice, you begin to lose hair, it means that the time for some action came some time ago and you’ve lost it. First of all you start looking for some treatment that could fix this problem. Yes, there are multiple choices in that area, but there’s also Propecia. First of all, it grows natural hair, not some “peach fuzz”. And, of course it’s effect was demonstrated throughout the years of studies. Time is passing, so you need to start taking it. The faster the better.
You must consider your doctor’s prescriptions on Propecia. You have to take it regularly, for not less than three months. It can take around three months of daily taking before you can get a visible result. Propecia is working only over the long period of time. Once you stop the medicine treatment, any gain in hair quantity will be unfortunately lost.
You shouldn’t miss your next dose. If it happened, you should take it as soon as you remember. In case it’s almost time to take next dose, it’s better to wait until then and skip the missed one. Don not take any extra drug to compensate the missed dose – you can get an overdose.
Many studies were taken on Propecia’s efficiency. And the years of clinical studying showed the results. There are conclusions by an independent panel of dermatologists, which prove the truthfulness of those results. First of all, nine of ten men who took the medicine had their hair regrown or their hair loss receded. Also, two of three men, who took Propecia, had their hair regrown, as it was measured by hair count; all other men in that study, who didn’t take this medicine, have lost their hair. In addition, most men, who took Propecia reported about their bald spot getting smaller, reduction of hair loss and improvement of their hair growth.
With Propecia hair grows faster and it's thicker. At the end of a four year study, there was an increase in the samples' weight taken from men who took Propecia, in comparison with samples of those who took placebo. The efficiency of the treatment was demonstrated in studies of men, at eighteen to forty one years of age, with hair loss at the vertex and middle front of the head.
Hair loss differs from one person to another. And, because of that, it’s clear that hair regrowth varies among males. Some will notice a change in as little as three months after beginning the treatment with Propecia, but most will have to use Propecia for at least six months, and only then they shall see any results. That’s why it is so important to continue Propecia treatment for at least twelve months. Then you can judge how well it is working for you. If the medicine didn’t help in 12 months, there is no sense in continuing treatment – it is not likely to help.
